Christchurch Convention Centre is the largest purpose-built convention centre in New Zealand. Ideally located in the centre of Christchurch, the Centre is surrounded by luxury accommodation and is only 15 minutes drive from Christchurch International Airport.
Mail and messages
The meeting managers do not accept responsibility for personal mail. Please have mail sent to your accommodation address. A message board will be located near the registration desk. Please advise potential callers to contact Christchurch Convention Centre (+64 3 366 8899) and ask for the USANZ 2011 registration desk. Messages can not be delivered personally.
Climate
February days in Christchurch generally bring warm temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Days are sunny and nights are mild with an average maximum temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
Dress
Smart casual attire is appropriate for meeting sessions and the welcome reception. A jacket may be required for air conditioned session rooms.
Special diets
Provisions will be made for food preferences covering vegetarian, vegan, Halal and Kosher requests. If you have a special dietary requirement, please indicate this on your registration form. Please note that Halal and Kosher meals may incur an additional charge. Please note that requests for non-specific requirements, such as low GI or low fat can not be guaranteed.
